My fascination with photography started in middle school, learning to develop b/w photo’s in the darkroom. In High School, I was a photographer for the yearbook developing B/W negatives and photographing the extracurricular activities. After graduation, I worked at Sears portrait studio and then at Photo Plus for 7 years.
I started Photo Solutions in November 2006 after a friend asked if I would photograph their wedding. I have grown from having all of my gear in a closet in my home to a studio location, and now only on location. I love what I do, and the fact that my job is always changing means there is something new to try and learn all the time.
I am a member of the Montana Professional Photographer Association. I get a lot of inspiration from other great photographers from all over Montana and enjoy attending the conventions.
I am happily married with 2 teenagers and 2 cats. If you catch me without a camera in my hand you may find me shooting archery, teaching archery for the 4-H program, or camping somewhere in our beautiful state!
Sessions are typically 1 to 2 hrs long. I recommend that you have 3 changes of clothes and bring props you love that show who you are! We generally go to at least a couple of different locations. After your session is over, we will view your photos.
Team and individual photos. You can count on me to have a smooth and fast photo session. Photos are taken on location with the option to use the lastolite. Team photos, banners and posters are our specialty.
